Poached Eggs:

Boil water with a teaspoon of salt added,
crack egg and drop it into the boiling water.
If the water is at a rapid boil the egg tends to boil apart,
so just a light boil is best,
but more than a simmer!
Let egg boil in water for about 2 minutes,
keep checking with a slotted spoon to check yolk for desired set.
Remove from water when done with the slotted spoon and let drain.
You can put a round metal cookie cutter, or a mason jar ring
in bottom of pan if you want a formed egg.
In that case you would only have enough
water in pan to slightly bubble over the egg.
You can also do this with milk.
Then serve over the toast milk and all!
Really does make a fast egg, and good too!
