The Corridor in Cabo

This is Jenny on her first dive.
I can't wait!
It will be sooo fun.
You know when you love something so much
you want everyone else to love it to?
Has anyone dove at Pelican Rock or the Corridor in Cabo?
We love the Caribbean, it is just so amazing!
We have dove in Cancun, and The Cayman Islands.
I hope we are not disappointed with the Pacific!
As long as it's not like Sand Hollow!!!
It was just downright scary!

Preparing for our little Stella!

I love this Picture.
Jesus preparing this baby for it's journey on Earth.
Our little Stella will be here soon.
I will be so thankful and happy when she is in our arms.
Lindsey is looking pretty ready.
The Dr. has moved her due date up some.
She is going every 2 weeks now.
Read about it on her Blog.
I love my grand babies more than
I could have ever imagined I would!
They are so precious!
I want their lives to be so perfect.
It is sometimes overwhelming.
The responsibility to teach them to do what is right.
How Heavenly Father must feel when he looks down on his
children and feels the pain of their mistakes.
Abuse, or sadness in their lives.
I guess he sees more clearly the big picture.
That this life is but a grain of sand on the beach of eternity!
To see the purity and innocence of little babies
just makes you want to live more righteously.
To be with our families forever!

Trick or Treat

My grand kids and friend Mei Li have been practicing Trick or Treating.
They go out the garage door then ring the front door bell and yell
Trick or Treat!
There is only one problem with this fun.
They have pretty much cleaned me out of my Halloween Candy.
Adi said "Grandma, I need a bigger sack".
So I got her one. Adi, Tae and Jr. went home with quite a haul! Tae and her darling friend Mei Li. My Halloween Door Swag. and Taelynn. Top of Swag.
I have dropped some serious cash at this place!
When my children were teenagers,
I would send them to the car while I checked out! (so they wouldn't tell their dad how much the damages were)!
It is on 2576 E Charleston Blvd. Las Vegas, Nev.
Go there!
You will love it!
If you want new Christmas tree ornaments, Christmas tree, wreaths,
Christmas ribbon,
Any Holiday Decor. Swags, whatever they have it!
It is inspiring!

Let's Cruise!

I am really excited!

My Daughter Jennifer and her husband Jeremy are going to come on our Cruise with us.

It will be great to have them along.

They are so much fun.

Here we come SAPPHIRE PRINCESS!

3 MORE WEEKS!

Our port's include:

Puerto Vallarta

Mazatlan

Cabo San Lucas

It is a 7 night Cruise, so 3 of the 7 we are at Sea.(Spa Days)

Colorado Peaches

My Friend Dale-Rae got me some Peaches from Colorado.
They were Soooo Good!
Thank You Dale-Rae!
So I froze them. It worked out great!
Here is the procedure:
Put Peaches in Boiling Water about 2 minutes. Take Peaches out of boiling water and put them in ice water.
Then the skins just slide right off with a paper towel.
You have a beautiful bowl of peeled Peaches.
So I sliced them and doused them with some fresh lemon juice.
Froze them flat on a cookie sheet. That makes them freeze faster and thaw faster.
Then today I got a bag out and thawed it out on my counter.
We made Peach Cobbler.
A scoop of ice cream and THERE GOES THE DIET!

Blackened Talapia

I had invited 14 people to dinner,
then my husband wanted to go on a Bike Ride.
So we rode our bikes up Snow Canyon.
It was a beautiful day "COOL"
Almost chilly.
So I got home late and started dinner late.
My son Shaun came a little early so I put him to work.
He is a really good cook!
I was fixing Etouffee. A Cajun dish.
Shaun mixed up a Blackening Seasoning.
Cooked all the Blackened Shrimp and Talapia.
I made the Etouffee sauce. Rice.
Jentry made a spinach salad with caramelized walnuts,
feta cheese, fresh sliced pears, and a Raspberry Vinaigrette.
Grandma Nora made a Peach Cobbler. From my frozen peaches.
It was fun working together.
It turned out Yummy.
That's what is all about!

MY BROTHER IS MARRIED!!!!!

What a wild and fun couple of weeks!
First I tended Gabrielle for SEVEN nights!
She was an angel.
Her parents were in Mexico for NINE nights.
I took her to Tara Tues. and went directly to my 8 Hour dental appointment.
Recovered for a couple of days.
Then Friday we went to the Rodeo.
My son-in-law Darrin was the Co-Chairman of the Rodeo.
So we wanted to watch him ride in the Grand Entry.
Then Saturday Morning we got up at 5:45 a.m. (those of you who know me know this is major)
Picked up the Flowers at Bloomers for my Brothers Wedding and drove Tara and Darrin's Coach loaded with flowers up to Bryce Canyon.
Ok, I don't know about anyone else, but when my husband is stressed he is grouchy.
Driving a 40" Motor Home loaded with Glass and Flowers is stressful!
I went back on the Bed and slept most the way!!!!!
The Wedding was so awesome!
It was a long ways away, but the leaves were changing and it was beautiful!
After the Wedding we drove back to Brian Head for the Reception. The scenery was gorgeous,
I reclined the front seat and was in Heaven for the Drive. This is the first time we have got to take the Coach. I think we are hooked. It was great!
Then after the Reception we drove down the mountain to Parowan and stayed the night at my Parents house.
The next morning I went to SLC to a two day Cake Decorating Class. It was from 9-5 Monday and Tues. It was the funnest ever!
I went by myself and I really enjoyed the trip.
So now I am home and tending Adi and Jr. while there parents are out of town for a couple of nights.
I hope life slows down a little now!
So here are the Pics from the Wedding that have been posted.
I can't wait to see the photographers pictures. He took tons! I will post them later.
This is my brothers car:
Wedding Destination:The Bryce Canyon Lodge:My Parent's:Flower girl's and Ring Barrer:Carson, my Nephew was so cute, he practiced and practiced handing the ring to Curt.
When it came to the ceremony he had to go up stairs. (he had not practiced for this) It was so funny because he tryed doing a half knell type bow on the stairs, then Curt motioned for him to come up on the stage. He did such a great job. He took it so seriously!Back Drop of Wedding, Bryce Canyon:Erica had two dresses, one for the ceremony and one for the Reception:OK....this was the best part of the whole day!
Unbeknownest to any of us...Tara had choreographed a whole wild routine for Curt and Erica....
So they had their first dance, so calm and nice, they hugged like it was over and then this loud wild music started and they broke into this whole routine. It was hilarious! They were both
so into it and everyone was so shocked. It was GREAT!
Curt said he was more worried about the dance than the vows.

CLICK TO ENLARGE: LOOK AT THEIR FACES!

Cutting the Cake:
So many of their friends flew into Bryce (literally) to be with them. From all over the US.
People they went to school with, People they work with. It was so awesome.
They are really special and Amazing People.
I am not suprized so many people
came so far to share their special day!
Jr.:They have both waited so long to get married, I am so happy they finally found each other!
Erica is a Pharmaceutical Rep. She goes into Surgeries and demonstrates how to use medical devises.
My Brother Curt is a Nurse Anestheses. He does a lot of epidurals, and works with a Anesthesiology team in Vegas. He also does a lot of Spine Surgeries with Dr. Duke in Vegas.
Curt thinks he is an incredible surgeon. The Best.
He has a jet and a full time on call Pilot.
So he flew to Bryce to the Wedding. I was excited to get to meet him.
Curt has worked so hard to get where he is.
He has so much drive and is sooooo smart.
I am so proud of him and his accomplishments!
So Curt and Erica met at the Hospital.
Erica took the Surgical team out to dinner. And the rest is History.
WHAT A GREAT DAY!
CONGRATULATIONS!

DIET DIET DIET!

Ok...Now that I have booked our Cruise, the diet has began! It may not hurt that my mouth is weird right now, due to my extensive dental work. My friend Dale-Rae ratted on me to Dr. Andruss and told her that I was the devil. That I make cupcakes and take them to people. Thanks Dale-Rae! No more cupcakes for you! I have really got to buck up! Ok I am accountable now. I have said it out loud. Tami, Teri and Wendy....NO MORE CRACKER BARREL! Janece, Tara and Teresa...NO MORE OLIVE GARDEN! Keep me on track! How much weight can I lose in 45 days?

Sapphire Princess?

Has anyone been on the Sapphire Princess?
I am thinking about booking a trip for Kendalls B-Day Present.
We have really never been down the Pacific Side of Mexico.
This is a 7 day cruise to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo.
(Mexican Riviera)
All of which we have never been.
It would be great to drive there and board, instead of fly!
We love Princess or Royal....
Has anyone went with Holland?
Darren and Tara went on
Carnival Pride to the same Ports for their Honeymoon.
Pride was brand new then.
They thought it was great.
Jenny and Jeremy went on the Ensanade, Catalina cruise.
BAD BAD BAD!
Jenny had cruised with the family before so she knew the difference.
We may never get Jeremy on another Cruise!
Sorry so many questions!
Would it even be worth diving at any of the Pacific ports?
We really need to log a dive.
We have been wanting to go to Belize also.
Has anyone stayed somewhere nice there!
IMPUT APPRECIATED!
Family and Friends You are welcome to join us!

Family Reunion!

My two little busy bee decorators!
I took some undecorated cupcakes to the Reunion.
The kids really love to decorate them.
I made Smores Cupcakes
They were really good!
Graham Cracker Cake
Topped with Toasted Homemade Marshmallow.
I drizzled Chocolate on some and
Topped the others with a
Chocolate and a Pecan. I have been wanting to make some Bundt Cakes....
This was a Coconut Pecan.
It was ok.... A little too sweet and moist.
I will have to keep trying!
