The Encore!

OK...I don't normally take pictures of the Hotels I stay in....BUT,

The Encore is so New and Nice

The Decor is so nice!

I love Red and Black!

Here are a few things I love about it:

The elevator Lobby...

I forgot my Toothbrush

So this is what they brought me:

Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Mouthwash.

I-Pod Dock for your Alarm Bed is actually sleepable!

I love opening the curtain and sheer with a button on

the wall right next to the bed!

Wall to Wall Full length windows

This is great EXCEPT:

When you are in the top floors of the

Wynn or Encore, and the wind is blowing

It rattles the windows!

You can also hear the planes coming in.

So I opt for lower floors.

(I HATE HEIGHTS)

Internet connection.

Lobby display.

They have this niche throughout BEAUTIFUL!And last but definitely not least!

This is ONE of the shower heads in the shower.....

About waist height and the size of......like.......A Carrot?

infrared stand....

Includes: Trojans, Warming Gel, Personal Vibrator.....

I passed room off to my Friend Dale-Ray for the last night.

We decided to go home.

Her favorite was the Black and White Wall-paper.

I like the Encore better than the Wynn because:

It is smaller,

the elevators to your room are right

next to the check in desk.

Pool close to all rooms,

Easier to maneuver without getting lost!

Highly Recommend the Encore

Worst place I have stayed in Vegas:

The Luxor! Hate It!

If you like the no casino atmosphere The Renaissance

is nice. It is next to the Hilton Convention Center

The tram pulls up right next to it if you are

going our to a show or something.

The pool and stuff is not good,

but the hotel is clean and newly remodeled.

I like the Treasure Island and the Wynn because they are

right across the street from The Fashion Show Mall.

I have not stayed at the Trump....it is also really really close.

My favorite show is Le Rev at the Wynn

Didn't really love Mystere which is similar.

Hope this helps for anyone traveling to Vegas.

BRIDAL EXPO

This was our finished booth.

I was really happy with how it turned out!

My daughter Jenny was over the decorating.

This Tiffany Blue Cake had Jenny's

beautiful handmade Orchids on it!

I do not know why we did not get a picture of it finished!

I think this Dammask Cake was our Show Piece!

It took Jenny and I about 6 hours to Airbrush it.

It was really beautiful! 8 tiers high.This is a picture of the cake before the roses.

You could do so many fun things with it at this point.

The Purple Cupcake Tower also showcased Jennys Flowers

These cherry blossoms were darling!

I thought the wheat grass was soooo cute!

Jenny designed and made this cake,

but did not really like

how it turned out.....

I thought it was fun!

This cake was simplistic and pretty...

Jenny handmade all the butterflies.

The orange was airbrushed on the sides only.

The blue flowers were lined with piping.

Contemporary! Once again this is Jenny's Cake Design.

She airbrushed all the layers and

handmade all the flowers.

It was really elegant.So we decided to do the Bridal Expo and in 2 weeks we:

Ordered everything we needed to make Dummy Cakes

(Styrofoam Dummies etc.)

Ordered business cards

Ordered a Sign

Kendall built me some really cool tables

Designed our booth and ordered accordingly

Put together 8 Cakes with dummies

Made 15 Gallons of Fondant

Handmade sugar butterflies, orchids, gold flowers and cherry blossom twigs

Covered around 34 dummies with fondant

Air Brushed 16 Layers

Decorated all 34

Dowelled them all together

Baked 700-800 Cupcakes

Frosted them all

Used ???200 bags of Pwd Sugar approx.

If you licked my walls in my house right

now I think they would taste like sugar!

Placed the finishing touches

Made a Picture Book

Ordered Shirts and had them embroideried with our Logo

Set up the booth

Did the show

Tore down the booth

CRASHED!

Yeh, we are pretty spent!

That was a pretty big undertaking for that amount of time.

When I say we.....I definately did not fly solo!

Jenny was amazing!!!

She stayed up till 3-4 A.M. with me slaving away!

She made all the sugar flowers and butterflies!

With very little compensation I might add!

Then there was Jeremy!

He is the greatest man!

He emptied out his work trailer, cleaned it and hauled

all my tables etc. to the Dixie Center (in the rain).

Helped set up, and take down, and hauled it back home.

My Husband Kendall!

Built 8 sturdy tables all different sizes.

Round on the top with a Square base so they are flippable!

Built me the coolest Air Brush booth with shelves,

a tent over it and everything!

Put up with a messy messy kitchen for a week!

Although he left town on a golfing trip the day before the show.....

Jenny's Wedding was at Entrada. It was so beautiful with Snow's Canyon's Red Rocks for the Back drop.

Her colors were lime green and purple.

It was a gorgeous Wedding!

Well, what have I got myself into?

I just love it though!

I am going to have a booth at the St. George Bridal Fair.

Sat. January 24th 2009

I must thrive on stress. Why do I just go looking for it?

I am busy getting ready. My booth is going to be silver and white.

Jenny and Tara have been helping me with my logo etc.

There is really a lot to do to get ready.

I just decided one day and signed up the next (yesterday).

I hope I can pull it off!

I just want things so perfect.

Its hard to have so many people look at your work.

I wish I had more time to prepare, make display cakes etc.

I do not want to be so rushed!

SO MANY I"S!

I just started this off last year for fun.

But I do really enjoy it.

I have made wedding cakes over the years for

friends and family.

Maybe making money at it will be cool.

OPTIMUS PRIME FOR COOPER M.

I made a Transformer cake tonight for a Birthday tom.

It turned out good I think.

I used Ding Dongs for the tires, Ho Ho's for the side tanks.

It is All cake! I used 7 square cakes.

Made and frozen the day before.

Then cut them up tonight.

I Silver dusted the exhaust pipes, grill and knee guards.

Pearl dusted the grey fondant windows.

Covered 13 separate pieces of cake with fondant.

I made some of the fondant pieces 2 days ahead

to dry

(hands,the head, helmet, exhaust pipes, gun and grill).

NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!

I still have to write Happy Birthday Koda

on the body of the cake.

This guy turns into a diesel.

Cooper was in my Primary Class this year.

He is an amazing kid!

Very educated in the gospel.

He always knew all the answers.

He is just turning 5!

Best Friends Forever!

This was taken at my brothers wedding.

I just love it.

They love each other.

They beg for each other when apart.

They stick up for each other at school.

They usually tell people....

This is my sister Tae.

or This is my sister Adi.

They are really cousins.

But only three months apart in age.

This picture totally shows their personalities.

Tae is demure and sweet,

Adi struts the cutest spunky little attitude.

They will look after each other forever.
